Dear COMmunity,
We are not even at Thanksgiving week yet, but I bet you have seen some stores and places switching to Christmas decorations already. Yes, this is how excited we get about the holiday season, even if we know we still have several weeks to go. Slow down your pace and take time to observe your surroundings. You may spot subtle signs of holiday vibes in our neighborhood and near the Charles River (and perhaps signs for holiday sales).

We are looking for fun and dedicated souls who are pumped to make our COMmunity shine brighter than ever. The recruitment is based on self-nomination, and ALL POSITIONS OF THE COUNCIL ARE OPEN TO APPLY.

Influencers & AI: Navigating the Next Era of Digital Engagement: Wed, Nov. 13, 3-4pm, Virtual
Influencer marketing has rapidly evolved with the rise of social media, and AI is now taking it to the next level. As AI reshapes online interactions, the future of digital marketing promises to be more personalized, impactful, and data-driven. Join us to explore how AI is revolutionizing influencer marketing and what it means for the future of digital engagement! [Register Open] Thanksgiving Meal for All: Thu, Nov. 28, 5-8pm, Marciano Commons
Don't have a meal plan or plans for Thanksgiving? Join our community for a traditional Thanksgiving meal with plenty of sweet goods, delicious side dishes, and oven-roasted delights, including great vegan options! You must register to attend by 11/25. You are welcome to bring a guest who is not a BU student; however, their cost will be $21 per person, payable at the door. If you have a meal plan and guest passes available, you can use those for your guest!
Coffee with the Council: Fri, Nov. 15, 2-4pm COM 303
We want to cheer you up and provide you with some cozy and delicious food through this bi-weekly event. This time we will have hot chocolate and pastries. Stop by, chat and chill. We are looking forward to seeing you.
BU International Education Week 2024
This is Boston University’s 13th year celebrating International Education Week (IEW)! IEW is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange.
We hope to see you at the many different events throughout BU’s campuses and encourage everyone to help celebrate BU’s global diversity.
